The Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Dance Marathon program was founded by students in 1991 in the memory of Ryan White. Since its inception it has grown to hundreds of universities and colleges (and even some high schools!) across the country, and now we are taking it to the next level.
Dance Marathons have become a tradition on college campuses, but why do they get to have all the fun? We're asking you to help us make this a tradition right here in Central Florida!
Florida Miracle is an 8-hour event where all participants stay on their feet and "dance" for those who can't. It's inspirational. It will change your life. But more importantly, it will help change and save the lives of kids who need it most.
Whether you choose to participate as an individual or as a team, our dancers pledge to stand on their feet for 8 hours and fundraise the minimum $100 required to dance.
It takes many hands to make miracles happen. And while our dancers are standing on their feet, we'd like to have you help us pull off the best event they've ever attended! Whether you can give us one day or one year of your time, we'll need help with everything from planning and promoting the event to checking in dancers, serving meals, taking photos, and everything in between!
